Mark your calendars for BIOCOMM 2018 – June 19‑22 to be held at the Hotel Indigo in Savannah, Georgia. Plans are in the works for a series of presentations, demonstrations, keynote speakers and a one-day workshop on June 23.
We are proud to announce Mark Maio as the Anne Shiras Pioneer Lecturer for BIOCOMM 2018. Many BCA members and friends know Mark from previous BIOCOMM meetings or as a RIT professor and fine art workshop instructor. With a background in ophthalmic and medical photography, as well as fine art, Mark divides his time between personal fine art work and as an imaging consultant in the field of ophthalmology. His highly-acclaimed work includes a 12-print portfolio that is included in the permanent collection of the George Eastman House International Museum of Photography.
