Mee Canyon Alcove

Mee Canyon Alcove is located in the McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area. The National Conservation Areas protect and preserve lands with special features for future generations to enjoy. The alcove is located at the bottom of Mee Canyon and is one of the largest alcoves in the Colorado Plateau. The trail to the alcove is steep and difficult with some exposure along cliff edges.

PURPOSE
This image was made to support the Colorado Canyons Association and its mission to provide education about the National Conservation Areas in Western Colorado.
