BCA News: Spring 2021
The BioCommunications Association has postponed the annual in person conference until 2022 due to COVID 19 concerns. Throughout 2021 we will be conducting Virtual BIOCOMM 2021. We have been holding successful monthly Zoom meetings for education and information sharing.
Don't miss out! Attend BIOCOMM 2021 from the comfort of your home or office. BCA is having the meeting and conference online so we can all attend with Zoom. We are spreading the presentations out over the year. Join us every month for a plenary session, workshop or other event. March brings InfoShare and Show your Stuff. Hoosain Ebrahim tells us about Kirlian photography in April. May is the time of year for our annual Business Meeting and Town Hall. For June, James Hayden, RBP, FBCA, brings a talk about confocal microscopy. The schedule for the rest of the year is currently open.
BCA announces a Call for Papers for July – December, Virtual BIOCOMM 2021. Please consider sharing with others online and present a paper, workshop, or participate in InfoShare and Show your Stuff. Download the abstract form here. Complete the form and send to firstname.lastname@example.org. Submission deadline is May 10, 2021. Be part of Virtual BIOCOMM 2021!
Next year, BIOCOMM 2022 will be held in Santa Fe, New Mexico. All of the plans we had for BIOCOMM 2020 are still in place. We have secured the same prices for you from 2020. We will be at the Drury Inn for $149 per night. Free breakfast and a cocktail hour with light food is included with your room rate. So, mark your calendars for next summer May 17-20, 2022.
