BCA News: Winter 2017

Connie Johansen, RBPMembership Renewal

It’s hard to believe that 2016 has come to a close and 2017 has begun. For you and me that means the time has come for us to renew our membership to the BioCommunications Association. Remember, your membership dues are tax deductible.

Membership is the life blood of our association. Without US, there would be no reason to “keep the lights on.” Our membership renewal goes a long way toward maintaining and building on BCA’s programs. It contributes to our website resources, our YouTube Channel, grants and scholarships, the Journal of Biocommunication, our Certification program, and it also subsidizes a good part of our annual meeting.

Of course it’s not just about the money (though our Treasurer might not agree). It’s also about a community of professional imagers who value the networking opportunities and the relationships we have built over time. We rely on each other to perfect our craft and to raise our profession to the next level. The BCA has always been at the ready when I needed guidance. I want to see it continue for the benefit of all of us.

Please allow me to repeat a line I ended with in the last renewal letter I sent. BCA is truly a wellspring for inspiration, connection, resources, and learning. BCA needs you!

Please come join us in 2017! Click here to go to the Membership page and the membership application form.

Thank you,

Connie Johansen, RBP
President, BCA
