Nancy S. Hurtgen was honored with the Ralph Creer Service Award. Her plaque reads, "For decades of distinguished service to the Association and the ideals to which it aspires, for loyalty, dedication, and an incredible memory, and for being a helpful resource to members, and the Board of Governors. We are especially grateful for her integrity, editing skills, attention to details, thoughtful guidance and organizational skills. She is the first friendly face to greet meeting attendees, a gracious hostess and the person "in the know." She has provided continuity, direction and support to a long line of grateful officers. BCA has been supremely served."
