As a Forensic Photographer, you will serve as a recognized technical specialist and authoritative consultant in photographic matters (laboratory and field operations) and in the establishment, development and application of special photographic investigative technologies. Produce all types of visual communications products using traditional visual artist tools and/or computer graphics and/or layout and spreadsheet software desktop systems to convey intended information for both electronic and printed media. Assignments include application of advanced photographic and visual art technology to investigations in terrorism and security matters, crime scene response, designing alerts and reports, and specialized forensic matters.

The Dermatology department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in NYC is seeking a Medical Photographer for multiple clinical research studies. You will function autonomously at two outpatient sites using study-specific devices and software to capture and record required assessments of patients enrolled in IRB study protocols. You will be responsible for maintaining all equipment in working order and ensuring the quality, accuracy, timeliness and privacy/security of the study data. You should have experience using Excel, and have strong interpersonal skills. You will be an integral part of the Derm Research Team and must be able to communicate contributions effectively. Training and on-going support will be provided but a high level of independence is necessary to grow this position. Bachelor’s degree in photography and patient experience is highly preferred.

Ophthalmic Photographer/Technician
National Institutes of Health – Bethesda, MD

The NEI Eye Clinic on the main campus of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, MD hs a contract position for an ophthalmic photographer/technician with at least 2 years of experience in the field. This temporary ophthalmic photographer would perform color fundus photography (CFP), fundus autofluorescence (FAF), and spectral domain optical coherence tomography (SD-OCT). If appropriately trained and skilled, this ophthalmic photographer may also do fluorescein and/or indocyanine green angiograms and slit lamp photography. The initial base period is for three months with 3-month option periods added, if the NEI deems it necessary.
