Peabody, Massachusetts, United States

Every December, Santa visits the baby in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Mass General Hospital. This image depicts a set of twins in the NICU in the hands of Santa. Survival rates vary depending on how many weeks old, on average rates range from 60%-80%.

Purpose
The reason for this image is to bring smiles and joy to the families in the NICU who are going through unbelievably tough time. Also used on social media to bring awareness to the NICU and to also try and bring smiles to social media audiences.

Equiment
Shot with a Canon R5 and RF 24-70mm lens, ISO 2500, 30mm, f/3.5, 1/125. Onboard flash with small dome diffuser aim to the ceiling for bounce. I used a low power to try and capture some of the ambient glow from the Christmas lights.
