Emeritus Membership in the BCA is an honor. It recognizes distinguished craftsmanship, professional achievements and meritorious contribution in the visual communications media in the life sciences and medicine. Nominees must have been active BCA members for not less than twenty years (does not have to be consecutive), attained the age of 55 and retired from the field of biocommunications. Nomination forms should be sent to office@bca.org, attention Emeritus Chair.
A nominee for Emeritus status must been an active BCA member for not less than twenty years, attained the age of 55, retired from the field of biocommunications and be sponsored by at least
one member (active/retired/ emeritus) and one other person. Sponsors must include a supporting letter with the completed proposal.
Nominations are welcome from any active member. The nomination form (available below) is formatted for use with Adobe Acrobat. Once all required information is collected, the
completed form should be submitted to office@bca.org, attention Emeritus Chair.
