I shot this image while kayaking into a marshy area of Pelham Bay Park in the Bronx. The egret was fishing and was startled by a passing motor boat.

Purpose
My wife and I spend many weekend mornings kayaking in the waters surrounding Pelham Bay Park and Long Island Sound. During the explorations, we often interact with special animals and behaviors in the pristine areas of the park.
