Exploring the Beauty of SciArt
Hey there! I’m excited to share a little bit about what my sister, brother-in-law, and I do at our company, Química Tech, right here in Chihuahua, Mexico. We specialize in distributing lab equipment, including microscopes, of course.
A little while back, I started taking pictures through these microscopes to show our customers the images they could create with them. I experimented with micrographs from various fields, including life sciences, geology, material science, and quality control. For a long time, I kept these photos all to myself, thinking they were only for microscope users.
But in 2023, I decided to print some of my favorite images on posters and T-shirts, mostly as gifts for friends and a little something for myself. To my surprise, many people found my pictures captivating, even if they weren’t directly linked to science.
At the BIOCOMM 2025 event in Tucson, I was so inspired by the friendly and supportive members of the BCA that I decided to share my work even more widely. That's when I launched my online store! It’s a fun blend of microscopy and art where you can find beautiful museum-quality prints, vibrant posters, and original T-shirts. Every piece has its own story—some have won awards, others have been displayed in museums and galleries, and a few are just my personal favorites that I love to hang on my wall or wear with pride.
