Louis Schmidt Laureate 2025
Simon Brown, MSc FBCA FIMI
BCA would like to congratulate Simon Brown on becoming the 2025 Louis Schmidt Laureate. Simon Brown is an experienced clinical photographer and has been involved in teaching and training in clinical photography since the 1990s. He recently co-edited and part-authored a new textbook, "Clinical Photography — theory and practice" with Paul Crompton and Amy Lake. Simon has been a BCA member for many years and was awarded Fellowship in 1995. He is both a Fellow and Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Medical Illustrators in the UK.
