BioImages Judges

Josh is a photographer and camera image quality engineer working in Silicon Valley. He previously worked on image quality for aerial imaging systems at Harris Corporation and before that taught photography at Rochester Institute of Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Photographic Communications and a Master of Professional Studies degree from the School of Visual Arts. His personal photographic pursuits include stereoscopic captures for virtual reality systems, mobile phone macro photography and cameraless images via cyanotype. Josh co-authored Basic Photographic Materials and Processes, Fourth Edition, published in 2019.
